Storms are scary 😭 We had 2 big thunderstorms in France in June, during the 1st I was out taking pictures of the sky, I could hear the wind in the distance but still it arrived way faster than expected, had to run inside with the cats following and running too 🙈 About the episode, I love all the flashbacks and how they were put together, the transitions etc and the choice of the old French song La Valse À Mille Temps by Jacques Brel, this was such a great choice!

2025-06-28 01:38:30 +0000 UTCI've watched this episode multiple times since it first aired and it never fails to amaze me (or get me teary-eyed). The storytelling they did in such a short amount of time to really show Mark and Gemma's relationship and all they had been through is so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time, paralleled with Gemma in captivity (whom I believed to be Ms. Casey until we find out that it was Gemma the whole time) is the ultimate gut punch. I have too many things to say about this one but since the reaction is fresh, I'll leave off by saying that the final shot of Mark waking up, getting emotional, and the closeup of Gemma's eyes gets me every time. Up until that point/reintegration, Mark had probably tried to suppress so many memories of her and their time together (both before and after the severance procedure). So him waking up and immediately getting emotional upon remembering Gemma was probably one of the first times in recent history that he allowed with his whole consciousness to fully embrace those memories, thus continuing the cycle of grief, trauma, etc.

2025-06-27 20:15:59 +0000 UTCTo Mason Quinn-next episode you are going to hate. Compared to this one, the next episode is shorter and it’s slooowww as far as story line, but there’s a massive reveal. When listening to the Severence podcast with Ben Stiller and Adam Scout, they were so excited they got this actor to play Dr. Mauer because he’s the voice of the Beast in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Also, I believe that the “therapist” Mark was seeing Devon referred to in the non dinner dinner party in season 1 was also Dr. Mauer.

The Lexington Letters and the first 8 chapters of The You You Are are "quite intriguing", as Milkshake would say. Also they are NOT spoilers, just major hints to things we still dont know

If she was planning to go to Lumon for something, it's not by pretending to fake her death, on a night where they had couple's plans, and just leaving all her family and friends and husband without telling anyone where she was going.
