The disturbing part about seeing the flashbacks with Eleven in the lab is how the CIA really did experiments on people 😭 I saw an article recently of victims of MK Ultra in Canada who were asking for reparations because the experiments left them with long term health issues. The CIA also studied remote viewing, which is what they show El do when she can hear the Russian guy from across the world. On the CIA website there is an 80 page file from 1986 that had been declassified in 2000, that details the remote viewing training they did with 9 people chosen for their "psychological profile". It's pretty wild how so much of what they show in the lab is based on real stuff 😱

2025-07-11 04:22:05 +0000 UTCThank you guys so much for the massive episode dump. I didn't catch all the discussion yet, but is this the plan for all the seasons? 2 big episode dumps for each season? I'm currently rewatching with Reel Rejects as well. They've been doing 2 a week and we just got into my favorite season - season 3. I'd love to be able to rewatch that one again soon with yall too.
