The story builds so well. I lost sleep to watch the two seasons in a week. And it’s amazing how Louis is a British actor and Lestat, an Australian actor and they do so well with changing accents based on the time frame they are in. Love it! Their relationship is so complicated as well. Poor Claudia

Him and Anne were just given executive producer credits. I did read that they were more involved with previous iterations of the series though.

Carefully answered questions based on Anne Rice’s books, without spoilers: 1. Magnus, Lestat’s maker, was old and an alchemist. Being newly made, Lestat could not have killed Magnus w/out Magnus’s assistance. Magnus left Lestat a coffin full of gold, rare gems, and priceless jewels. He instructed Lestat to spread his ashes before jumping into a ready made bomb-fire. Lestat was abandoned the night he was made. 2. The Cloud Gift comes to a vampires w/either age or the powerful blood of an ancient. 3. Vampires can sense each other’s presence. They can hear an older/ancient one’s heartbeats. They can smell death, vampiric or mortal, and also the aged blood of an immortal. They can also cloak their minds and shield their presence from each other if they’re old enough and learned how when they want to. 4. The Answer was right. If Louis had consumed human blood he would have healed faster. 5. Lestat’s age while living w/Louis and Claudia will probably be revealed in S1 or 2 I think, so I won’t say here. Only, Lestat is WAY stronger w/many vampiric gifts than he lets on and he has way more knowledge than he reveals. 6. The show is being created by Anne Rice’s son, Christopher Rice, and he is allowing many changes from the books for television. For example, there are characters that don’t show up until the last three books in the Vampire Chronicles that I’ve seen in Season 1 and 2. The television series is very entertaining and I am enjoying watching you guys reactions.
