I love you guys and your reaction to this show especially Oak and his feelings for Armand, so funny. Also the one playing Santiago is played by Ben Daniel's who is now permanently on my radar thanks to this. Even just from this episode he's made me more interested in Santiago then I ever was even from the book were I just found Santiago annoying and boring. Thank you, Ben Daniel's.๐

In season 1, Louis says of Lestat, "He is a lot, he is not perfect." But this is also a way in which Lestat thinks and does things. Exactly he cheats and yells and throws Louis out of the air. About Louis, my heart, do not forget who Louis is... he is really good at managing things, he is a lover, he is an artist, he is a Catholic, a father, he is his mother's son (and we all know his mother was a bitch), and he is a pimp. He is also a lot and more. Just sit back and enjoy Jacob Anderson's performance and Louis switching between his multiple behaviors. Claudia: In relation to Louis, it is exactly what she was addressing in the cafรฉ with "Who are you, Louis?" He is a lot... and he doesn't know it. So, in certain situations, he unleashes the behavior that gets him further... I love her! You don't need to say much. Delaney nailed it! Armand and Daniel: The dynamic between Daniel and Armand is my personal highlight. I love them so much. my heart opens and stops at the same time.

I gotta say that Ben Daniels as Santiago is PHENOMENAL, his portrayal of this character is so captivating and I can't take my eyes off of him when he is on screen. Perfect casting!

2025-08-11 06:06:21 +0000 UTCFrom Daniel's perspective Louis invited him to "tell his story" and then with Armand proceeded to lie to him the entire time, so he's probably thinking well what else are they hiding. Daniel is an investigative journalist, his whole job is the find the truth and around them his bullshit detector is going haywire, he's not going to just let that go. Daniel and Louis relationship is so interesting and one of my favourites on the whole show.
