2025-08-14 01:25:57 +0000 UTCThis is one of better book adaptations out there, but still a distant second to the book itself. Every good thing here was doubled in the novel. I was a little too old when the movie came out for it to be childhood nostalgia for me, but even viewed outside of the nostalgia lens it's still quite good. I am impressed at how much they kept in from the book.
