Took my dad to see this in theater. We didn't realize it but he and I had watched the entire series in the theater together. So we had to catch this last one as well. He's getting up in age now so we saw it opening day in his town. He really seemed to enjoy this one a little more than the others. I thought this was great. it was almost like two movies in one. Got our monies worth that's for sure.

Maybe with a poll for how many of each Bond actor's films to check out? Either way, would love to see some Bond <3 ALSO: Love the bit of trivia at the end. Would be awesome if at the end of films and shows you could check out some trivia from them. Fun stuff.

2025-08-22 14:14:22 +0000 UTCI'm giving this a 3.5. I really like that they tied up some loose ends and gave a great tribute to the entire series. Every time I binge the series, I always hated that we never found out what the anti god was. So I am glad we finally got that answer! I am sad that the title sequence was so lackluster for the "finale." I always look forward to it and in previous movies it blended seamlessly from scene to intro and kept my attention even if it did have spoilers. And this movie didn't feel like an actual end. These last two felt like the start of a new direction of the series or like filler, not the finale I expected. That's my main reasoning for a 3.5/5. I'll stick with my binge of movies 2-6, those are my favorites! 7-9 just don't have rewatchability for me. I'm just glad Ethan and Benji survived, RIP Luther! I think the Entity was a great villain but I just felt nothing with Gabriel. He didn't have anything about him that screamed dangerous and worthy opponent, or even the skill to counteract Ethan. Ethen just simply didn't take any of the easy kill shots the entire time. Gabriel only ever gave off "basic henchman that took slightly more effort to take out" vibes, but not two full movies worth. And I still hate Grace. She should've neve been introduced at the closing of the series (last two movies) because she was useless and wasted screen time being scared. In Dead Reckoning she at least seemed to have potential to run with the IMF in a few years, here she just dragged the group down. If they nixed her character, we could've kept Ilsa or even brought back Paula Patton's character. Any of the members would've been quick at hand, they didn't need a random person whose only skill was a quick hand and needed to be babysat the entire time. I'm with DD, I don't believe this is the end. Tom has "walked away" 3 or 4 times now. Even if he isn't able to do the intensive stuff anymore (we saw a lot less of what he is known for here), It'd be nice to continue the IMF storyline and have our crew training the next generation. I would love to see Paris (Pom) again! I literally grew up with these movies (MI came out when I was 2 but I remember the first time I saw MI2 onwards) and it sucks to say goodbye!

2025-08-21 05:07:53 +0000 UTCI vaguely remember back then Tom Cruise wants to do action sequence in space. So, I hope this might be it, for the big finale (maybe where he has to manually hack a satellite?) But we got deep cold underwater sequence, that is close enough 😁
