If you want a non-villainous Alan Rickman, Dogma is one of his best. (And one of our favorite movies.) But you have to check out Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy first. Crazy that you guys haven't gotten into the View Askewniverse yet.

It’s not as dark as the usual Tim Burton style and it’s not one of his most famous movies but for many it’s a hidden gem ✨ Between the fantasy and the emotions it really hits deep, especially with the family story. For me it’s one of the most beautiful films he’s made, and personally one of my all-time favorites 🥹❤️

Only because 90% of the cast can’t sing, they cut important songs but kept others, and they cut a lot of the comical beats that took the edge off all the murder and cannibalism (nomnom). BUT watching you guys go in blind and get completely grossed out….that was fun 😂 If you ever want to hear what it is supposed to sound like, listen to (or watch) the 2001 concert version or the 1980s pro shot. In the play, usually the same actress plays young Lucy and Johanna. While a completely different actress plays the beggar woman. So the audience has absolutely no clue until shes dead.
