I loved every time Oak had a comment about Armand. From the very beginning, Oak was completely right about him. I also loved all of Oak's commentary on the different characters and their relationships, especially on abuse. Many fans sometimes try to place blame on one person, but this story isn't possible with the added literary technique of multiple storytellers. Overall, the guys' ability to hone in and notice various clues to the truth being revealed in the finale is amazing. I believe it was Mason Quinn who was the first to get suspicious of Armand when he was acting as Rashid, based on a scene that Armand cuts of Louis' talk with Daniel to announce dinner. Answer would make many in-the-moment comments about details in early episodes that are relevant later. These guys were amazing people to watch react to the show. I was so excited to watch this video because I could not wait to see Oak be vindicated in his hatred of Armand.

#1 Please consider doing ALIEN EARTH💚🙏‼️ Phenomenal show. Now Interview with the Vampire.. I'm so incredibly happy you guys decided to watch this series. It is also PHENOMENAL! This is how I found interest in your content. Love your other reactions like Harry Potter and others as well. But I've been an avid Anne Rice reader and fan since I was a kid. I've read them all and love them all. Fun fact- when Anne Rice was trying to come up with Lestat's name she originally wrote the name Lestan after her beloved husband Stan Rice. But she made a typo and spelled Lestat and realized it was perfect. She was truly an amazing writer who put you in the world utterly and completely. Because of her I've been in love with New Orleans since I started reading her words that would transport me there. I'm going to her Vampire Ball this year and her celebration of life in New Orleans 2025, put together by her amazingly talented son, Christopher Rice. Thank you for watching and can't wait for The Vampire Lestat.🖤🩸

I wish they also watched the trailer for season 3. And I hope season for has Armand’s story. There must be a reason why he’s so wicked.

Now that we're done with s2, I NEVER trusted Armand! He was always so smarmy and I called the ending! We saw in s1 that Lestat could control multiple people but that it took its toll. We saw that Armand could control peple in a different way. But the way the audience was controlled in Louis' sentencing mirrored the soldiers in s1. And it didn't make sense that a wimpy SINGLE vampire could guard an old and strong vampire like Armand. The truth was always in the open, Louis was just too simple minded. Like Claudia said, love makes him stupid. I haven't read the book in a long time so I don't remember but I think fans have said the show does deviate. For the show, I wonder if Lestat was under some influence during the trial because there were times where he seemed to snap out of it and come to Louis defense. I feel so bad for Lestat. Despite his and Claudia's issues, he would have never let her die if he had the power to. He wouldn't hurt Louis in that way. I think he knew he only had the strength to save one of them, and Louis was his everything. I was never a fan of Claudia until this season. The actress did amazing and I dreaded her death! And Madeline. I was so happy for them to have found each other even if they only had a short time together. Finally, I love that we got the truth of what went down that night, with him and Lestat, and see just how unreliable Louis pov is. We saw the cracks in the lead up and had Daniel to point it out, but we see just how far he went to make himself the victim. Daniel is the true MVP of the show, and I can't wait to see how he and Lestat get along!

Yes wonderful points. Also Armand is very sneaky and devious his nickname is "gremlin" after all LOL as Lestat has called him. Also I'm super excited for Season 3 and to see Sam Reid unleashed in full force Lestat it's gonna be glorious.

Fantastic reaction, as always. The Oak when we see the truth about Armand was priceless! IWTV is quite simply some of the best television I've seen. Everything was perfect, the writing, casting, scenery, costumes. The acting was...well it just captivated you from the start. Sam & Jacob were absolutely spellbinding throughout. Everything about Armand was sketchy AF from the get-go. My take? He never got over Lestat walking away from him "a century or so ago", and picking up on the intensity of his relationship with Louis pretty much from the minute he met Louis, saw a way to get his revenge. Saw a way to hurt Lestat beyond endurance, to break him. He wanted Louis AND Claudia to die! He wanted them both to burn while Lestat was forced to watch, and that would have broken Lestat. He looks like crap when we see him in New Orleans, and I believe he's been just surviving on rats to punish himself for being unable to save Claudia, and for "giving" Louis to Armand. He knows what Armand did, after all. So, just like Louis gets by in a "beige, boring" relationship, devoid of all the passion & drama that he got from his life with Lestat, Lestat endures nearly 80 years without the satisfaction & fulfilment of human blood, no passion (other than music, perhaps), as we know what such a poor diet did to Louis' libido. He's suffered a great deal and I can't wait for his story to be fleshed out in part 3, The Vampire Lestat. Sam Reid's going to to absolutely kill it!
