I don't remember the book tbh as it's been 20 years since I read the series but I do remember The Vampire Lestat was my favourite of the books so I'm SO excited to finally see it brought to life.

2025-09-25 18:27:04 +0000 UTCSeconding (thirding? Fourthing?) the other suggestions to check out the previous year SDCC teaser ( Schwoopsie pasted the link below me) - it's more teaser, less BTS. ALso - they are definitely playing up the 80s rock aestetic - the book came out in the early 90s, so that is absolutely the rockstar Vibe Lestat had there - but that kind of bombastic, glitter, sexy rock is absolutely coming back (Look at Chappel Roan, etc) - I know the creators posted a list of a whole bunch of artists and productions that went into inspire The Vampire Lestat's vibe. I can't find the list now, of course, but I remember Rocky Horror, Robert Plant, David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, and the Velvet Goldmine movie were all listed as influences. There's a full song previewed in that other teaser :)
