I’ve always had a tough time seeing this ever since it came out, as someone who knows how addiction is like. I spent all my teenage years dying from anorexia and then later on going through binge eating, recovered all on my own and then directly after got locked up and abused to the point of me never being able to walk again… And am in such deep depression now that I just want to give up on life cuz I can’t do anything even tho I had so many dreams in life, of dancing, running, traveling etc, and I’m just stuck in my house handicapped… So I myself just cry throughout the movie cuz I feel his hopelessness and just accepting that your life is over.
