one of my favorite tiny details is the design choice in the rainbow room, especially seen during this face off between El and One. on El's side, the rainbow on the floor is arching outwards towards One like a burst of energy, potentially showing her favor in the battle ahead, while his side of the room is not only severed, cut off from the rest of the world like he is in the Upside Down, but the rainbow itself is also upside down, signifying his role, it's just really cool! reaction was insane as always, cannot wait for the finale and to experience the last season with you guys!

Because I've rewatched a few times the last few months with different reactors and have caught discrepancies. Like Dustin mentioned his parents in one episode and in S2, it's just him and his mother.

Unless the gate entrance in seasons past was such a concentrated level of toxicity because it was a small area vs the open world they are in. I always crack up when we first hear the Demogorgon behind the metal doors because it laughs like Billy (Saw).

2025-10-31 06:07:29 +0000 UTCThe gate we see El open to basically banish One into the Upside-down isn't the same gate as the one from S1/S2. That one was in a completely different part of the lab, where they did the experiments in the water tank. The gate One went thru closed up.

2025-10-31 03:03:03 +0000 UTCI love how Mason keeps saying the ONE big scene coming up. There are like 20 big scenes coming up over the next two episodes 😆. The part of this episode that I think gets over looked is in the face-off of Eleven and Vecna. Eleven tries to summon the power to kill him by trying to think of things that make her angry. As soon as she tries this, Vecna immediately overtakes her with ease. This shows that you can never beat Vecna with hate. Nobody can hate more than Vecna. Then Eleven thinks about the memory of being born with her mother and as she says "I love you" Eleven is now operating on love, not hate. Which is the only way you can beat Vecna. This is the same with Max in episode 4. When she thought of her friends and the people who love her, she summoned up the power to be released from vecnas grip and managed to escape with love being the driving force propelling her. It reminds me of the MLK Jr. quote, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that" I kind of think you can almost sum up the entire show in that quote.

2025-10-31 02:01:30 +0000 UTCLOL Mason Quinn's like that was the longest reveal, I was waiting 40 minutes.. I was waiting 4 episodes ago.. I thought it was gonna be then but I couldn't say anything. I was like OMG I can't wait to see their reaction when it's revealed and man, I even totally forgot that Answer is the only one who hasn't seen it. I was reminded when Quinn said said "oh yeah all kind of stuff is coming back"
