Baek-jin, the leader of the Union, originally has a lot of tattoos in the webtoon which was teased at the end of season one. But after Netflix bought this show after season one, the producers made some changes for whatever reason. Now that you've met him, we can finally tell you!

2025-10-31 19:57:25 +0000 UTCGreat reaction, it was so funny to see Mason being absolutely flabbergasted by Baku's energetic personality lol I'm an introvert, so I totally get how Shi-eun feels overwhelmed and confused by Baku's bigger than life nature. Of course, it also reminded him so much of Soo-ho, and Shi-eun just wants to avoid another emotional pain because having new friends means that he has to lose someone besides Soo-ho. Yeah, Park Ji-hoon's acting is so top notch that it makes writers job easier (I bet, they wrote certain scenes for S2 already keeping in mind that they can rely on his performance which saved a lot of dialogue). It's wild how different the actor in real life and in this series, makes question if he has a twin brother lol Choi Min-yeong was lowkey MVP this episode, imo, sneaky comedic timing. On the rewatch I noticing so many funny expressions from Jun Tae, he's hillarious, but in a different, more subtle way than Ryeoun (Baku). I understand why Mason was very surprised by 180 turn in the narrative because it does feel at times as sitcom and not a dark story about youth caught up in the gangs schemes. But this makes S2 fresh and engaging in a different way than S1 which is a good thing. And I agree with Dave on the levity making serious scenes more poignant, good balance. P.S. I watched the reaction on the website, that's why I'm able to write this post now.
