The Lord of Ghosts Chapter 2 Sketch pages
Added 2020-05-02 23:12:28 +0000 UTCHere's another bunch of these, when i had first started drawing this i thought i might colour it. So there are a few places where i write notes as to what colour things should be. It doesn't happen often but the first page here is a pretty obvious place where colour would be important.
The shading i did was also sorta supposed to inform the colouring, i think because i was imagining this in full colour i put a lot of emphasis on the light and dark and filling in areas in different shades of grey, as opposed to most manga i read where it's either light or completely black and the "greys" are made with cross hatching and stuff like that.
What this results in is a weird "black and white tv" sorta look to the comic, there's no colour but it sorta feels as though there should be? am i colourblind now?
In some far off fancy future where this comic is done and i'm doing a kickstarter to get it printed i might have a stretchgoal in there for a colour version. I'm sure everyone is dying to know what colour the hair is on that Arin Hanson-looking motherfucker.
(Just so you know, that likeness wasn't at all deliberate, i just wanted to depict a man who eats people and has a weird slovenly chin situation goin on and the long hair is like, one of two hairstyles i can draw.)
