January 2024 Production Update

I’m still working on the two 50 Ways to Die in Minecraft videos that I’m planning to release next June. One of them is about RL Craft, and the other is about the Create+ modpack. At the beginning of December, I still had a few more Create+ clips left to record and edit. Now they’re done, so next I would normally start working on the final edits of both videos. But this time, I’ve got an idea for a new element that I want to add to the 50 Ways videos.
I’m going to introduce a new mascot/MC type character for 50 Ways to Die in Minecraft who breaks up the spaces in between the death montages with darkly humorous poems. I’m going to aim for 3 poems per video, so I’m going to need six of them total. Writing the poems shouldn’t take too long, but I’m also going to animate this character delivering the poems and that’ll probably take longer. I don’t know how long, and that has me worried. I’ve got a lot of time to work with before June, but I also wanted to use it to make a 3rd video. Hopefully, this won't turn into another Cinemadversary situation.
So for January, I’m going to produce those 6 poem sections. Once they’re done, I’ll start working on the final edits of both 50 Ways videos.
