November 2024 Production Update

I spent the first week of October working on that Robert Roberson video and the thumbnail for the Redstone Ned Zone thumbnail. After that, I began working on the next Jake Pit video. I spent the second week of October playing the game that the new Jake Pit video is going to be about, recording footage for the video, and taking notes. Then I spent the third week of October organizing my notes, experimenting with the game to answer some questions I still had about it, and creating an outline for the script of the Jake Pit video. Then, I spent the fourth week writing the first 70% of the script. It’s looking like this video is either going to be much longer than I expected, or I’m going to need to cut out a lot.

Last weekend, I hurt my back so badly that I had to spend most of Sunday and Monday in bed. As of today, I’ve recovered to the point that I can sit at my computer desk, but I didn’t get much work done on the script. I’d say, since Tuesday, I’ve added another 15% to it. It’s really frustrating how long it’s taking me to make this new Jake Pit video (and these video essays in general). I’ve got about 3 weeks until the day I planned to start releasing these videos to the public. Back in June when I planned all this out, I expected I could have about 4 of them done, but it’s beginning to look like I might not even make it to 3!
