Tarkov Tweaks - Perk Overhaul Beta 2
The beta is finally back
This perk overhaul is designed to make the perks more a slight bonus rather than a thing you spec into to become a god of literally everything
This perk overhaul will require you use Levelupmenuex on the nexus
Planned Changes
- All new perk names and descriptions
- All new Perk Icons (Long term post most perk changes)
Current Perks Changes
Live Giver > Vitality
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Each rank will now only give +5 HP and rank 3 will no longer regen health
-I have a couple ideas on paper that i need to work on for ranks 2 and 3 to replace the HP boost/add to it
Attack Dog > Trained K-9 Unit
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Rank 1-3 are the same
-Rank 4 damage resistance reduced from 10% to 5% (planned 2.5% potentially)
Adamantium Skeleton > Stress Resistance
-Name and description of each rank updated
Limb damage reduction reduced from Rank 1 30% > 5%, Rank 2 60% > 10%, and Rank 3 invulnerable > 15%,
Fortune Finder > Soldier of Fortune
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Ranks 1-4 still offer more caps found in containers
-(planned nerf to the amount of caps found to be reduced (maybe halved?))
-Rank 4 Targets no longer explode into caps on death they now will die normally and have the
money placed in their loot container
Better Criticals > Sharp Shooter
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Ranks 1-3 SUPER NERFED from 50%, 100%, and 150% to 5%, 10%, 15% damage multiplier
Auqua Boy/Girl > SEAL Training (same name for both now)
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Rank 1: you can no longer breath underwater you are not auquaman > you can however stay under twice as long now
-Rank 2: You still are undetectable while underwater but in addition you can now swim 10% faster
-Planned changes: Either spread out these effects to either 2-3 more levels or nerf them a bit
Intimidation > Scare Tactics
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Planned changes are on paper nothing solid yet
Toughness > Resiliance
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Rank 1-5 damage resistance reduced from +10-50 > +5-25
Strong Back > Pack Mule (Name still a WIP just a placeholder for now until i think of something better)
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Rank 1-2 Reduced bonus carry weight from +25-50 to +2.5-5
-Rank 3-4 still the same
-Rank 5 reduced AP cost while running while over encumbered from 50% to 15%
Night Person > Night Operations
-Name and description of each rank updated
-All time effects changed from 1800 to 0600 to now 2200 to 0600
-Rank 1: Intelligence and Perception increased by 1
-Rank 2: Intelligence and Perception increased by 2
Lead Belly > Metabolism
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Rank 1 and 2 take 5-10% reduced Radiation from consumables
-Rank 3 still eliminates radiation from consumables
-Planned changes: Will probably tweak all 3 ranks
Quick Hands > Mag Drills
-Name and description of each rank updated
-new rank 1-3 will give 5-15% reload speed increase
-rank 2 and 3 will probably be tweaked in the future
Locksmith > Lockpicking
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Rank 1 unlocks the ability to unlock any lock of any difficulty level
-Rank 2-4 increase the sweet spot size
-Rank 4 removed the unbreakable bobby pins bc why carry 400 if you only need 1?
Lady Killer/Black Widow > Infiltrator/Espionage
-Name and description of each rank updated
-both perks trees will effect men and women and are no longer effect by your choice of gender
-Ranks will no longer do bonus damage to men or women
Chem Resistant > High Tolerance
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Rank 1 50% addiction chance reduction, Chems last 25% longer
-Rank 2 chems last 50% longer
Local Leader > Hideout Management (Name still WIP)
-Name and description of each rank updated
-You can make crafting benches now without Rank 1
-Rank 1 you now only need this for the creation of cooking benches and power armor stations
-Rank 2 Offers the creation of supply lines
Sneak > Ghost
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Rank 1-5 now reduce detection by 5-25%
-Rank 2 no longer activate floor traps
-Rank 3 no longer trigger enemy mines
-Rank 4 running no longer adversely affects stealth
Action Boy/Girl > Cardio Training
-Name and description of each rank updated
-Ranks 1-3 now regen AP 5-15% faster
Cannibal - REMOVED
-I might take a look at tweaking cannibal in the future but its def a back burner perk now and has been removed from the perk list
