The Woes of Royalty free music
Added 2020-06-21 20:29:18 +0000 UTCI just checked my emails and saw this.... I am furious. I got this track from a site that claims to share royalty free music. This is the third time this happened. Apparently this is a thing now. Sites share music that supposedly is free, and then it turns out not to be. Or some fucking dumbass troll uploads a copyrighted track to these sites to fuck with people like me. I don't know which one it is. But I am starting to think of ways to avoid this in the future. I might be starting up my own collection of royalty free music soon, since this is starting to get really redicilous. If my income keeps growing I might also at some point hire some musicians to make some royalty free tracks for me and other content creators.

Have you considered Floatplane as a possible alternative to youtube? It's still kind of in its beta stages, but it's quite interesting thus far.
