Thinking of a Sponsorship Experiment
Added 2021-07-24 03:03:29 +0000 UTCHey, so I had a little idea. I was approached by a friend of mine with a sponsorship offer for 2000$. I usually get offered 3000$ for a sponsorship, but I think I will accept the offer to try something. I usually use Sponsorship money exclusively to compliment the pay for artists, thanks to the Surfshark Sponsorships I was able to finish the Mexico series in record time because I was able to use the Patreon and Sponsorship money to hire 8 artists.
The thing I had in mind as an experiment, is that I make it publicly known that people can sponsor a short video of mine for 2000$, my thinking behind this is that it is affordable for small businesses, but also that 2000$ is the exactly right amount to hire a team of 2 dedicated artists at 1000$ each, or a team of 4 semi-dedicated artists for 500$ each. That way I could set up a system in which the Sponsors finance video production and all I have to do is write scrips and draw a quarter of each videos artwork. If this could work, I think I would be able to change the patreon to monthly payouts (as so many of you requested) because I could be able to produce at least 2, or in the future maybe even 4, videos per month. What do you think?
