Plans for 2022

As 2021 comes to an end, I'd like to share with you the plans I have for 2022.

The first video of 2022 will be exploring the social forces that created the broken political structures that enabled the Greek debt crisis. This will be a standard short 20-30 minute long video as you all have seen throughout recent months. I intend to make several more of these short videos, mainly focused on the political developments that created the different state structures of European countries.

I have two big projects (like the Mexican-American border one) in the research phase. One exploring why Latin American states are so dysfunctional, another exploring why there are so many failed states in Africa. These big projects are currently delayed because they are exhausting to draw. Because of that, I am saving up money, because I want to pay 3 artists drawing for these videos 2000$ per month over a 2 month period, or pay 6 artists 1000$ a month for 2 months. By March or April I will have saved up that money and work can begin on the big projects.

I would possibly also like to explore the idea of making a series. Meaning that we pick a topic, and rather than make a 20 minute, or 30-minute video, I make a series about this topic of 8 or so 10-minute long videos that are uploaded on a weekly basis over the course of 2 months. I have to run this idea by you Patreons first though.

I will be promoting smaller creators a lot in 2022. This will happen in form of collaboration videos. As my channel grows I think it is only fair that I go out of the way to promote smaller talented creators. Concerning that, I will be asking you Patreons to permit me to pick the topic for the February video, as I have an idea for the first collaborative video to promote another creator.

Also, there will be more live streaming. I finally have good internet, I can stream on twitch now, and will do so regularly, in particular with you - my patreons, as my guests if you wish to join and chat.
