A video for an iranian friend?
Added 2023-10-08 16:11:31 +0000 UTCA year ago I made a book recommendation to Iranian subscribers, I recommended them to read "The Power of the Powerless" by Vazlav Havel.
An Iranian friend of mine asked me for a while now to make a video on this.
I don't know if I could do a book review. I am not sure if that would be interesting to the wider audience. I could however make a broader video. That video would be about Czech history under communism. The Soviet occupation. And the important role that Czech artists played in intellectually undermining and bringing down communist tyranny in Czechoslovakia.

I didn't talk about it or don't remember hearing anyone talk about it, so the book is new for me (unlike the book's author Vaclav Havel who is really famous, a modern legend for many), and your videos are always so well researched that I would love to hear your take on it!
