Chapter 226: The Amazing Healing Magic

"We're near your school, but we can't find it anymore," Black Widow said awkwardly.

Originally, they intended to go directly to the school to ask George for help, but after arriving nearby, they found they couldn't locate the school. Even with the devices they had developed previously, they couldn't find it.

What puzzled them even more was that the location of the school, which was tracked by S.H.I.E.L.D.'s technology system, had completely disappeared from the system.

This led them to circle around the area several times, still with no clue, so they had to use the communication device they left behind to contact George by phone.

"Oh, I made a small upgrade to the school's defense system," George explained.

"How about this? Stay where you are, and I'll come get you."

George realized that his "Loyalty Spell" had kept them outside the school.

With his wings unfurled, he flew out of the school and soon found Black Widow and the others, who were injured, by the side of the road near the school.

"There are quite a few of you."

In addition to Black Widow, Coulson, Hawkeye, Hill, and there were about a dozen other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, most of whom were injured.

However, this was understandable. With more than thirty Winter Soldiers, each possessing strength comparable to Captain America under normal conditions, it was difficult for S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to have much of a chance.

"George, I know you don't like getting involved in our affairs, but if Hydra's plan succeeds, the entire world will be in chaos."

Seeing George appear, Black Widow stressed the severity of the situation once again.

"If you're willing to help, S.H.I.E.L.D. will reward you generously after we rebuild."

Based on her understanding of George's personality, she knew he wasn't motivated by a strong sense of justice. He needed a certain level of reward to get involved.

"Let's head to the school first and treat your wounds. Then you can tell me more about what happened."

George nodded and led Black Widow and the others to the school entrance.

At the moment, he didn't have much to ask from S.H.I.E.L.D. They didn't have any magic he could learn, and besides, he didn't dare learn Marvel's magic.

All the magic in the Marvel Universe has corresponding origins, tied to specific demon gods. If you used the magic of a particular demon god, you'd have to pay a price, even if using your own magical power.

For example, the magic from Kamar-Taj, like the Crimson Band of Cyttorak, comes from the demon Cyttorak. The Seraphim's Shield comes from the demon Seraphim, and the Vishanti's Holy Sword comes from the Vishanti.

This was also why George never sought out Ancient One or tried to learn magic at Kamar-Taj.

Besides, Ancient One was a mysterious figure deeply connected with Eternity, and George didn't want to get involved with her just yet.

Unless one day his power could rival that of the demon gods, allowing him to analyze their dimensional magic and eventually restore it with his own magical knowledge.

Honestly, George was quite intrigued by Kamar-Taj's space portal that could teleport across planets.

However, if there was something he truly found interesting about S.H.I.E.L.D., it was probably the Cosmic Cube.

One of the six Infinity Stones born from the Big Bang, the Cube contained the most fundamental laws and powers of the universe. The weapons created just by researching it were incredibly powerful.

For instance, during World War II, Hydra used the power of the Space Stone to create energy weapons.

Captain Marvel gained her powerful abilities from the Kree scientists' research on the Space Stone to create a light-speed engine.

If he could get his hands on the Space Stone and use its infinite power for meditation to enhance his magic, it would essentially be an inexhaustible magic crystal.

"This is our school, the Academy of Superpowers."

As George spoke the words "Academy of Superpowers," the entire school appeared out of nowhere, as though it was conjured from thin air, right in front of Black Widow and the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

When George cast the Loyalty Spell on the school, the only designated "keeper of secrets" was himself.

Only by hearing it from his mouth could one learn the school's location, and even then, only he could see it. Others couldn't be told or would be unable to locate it.

For example, if he told these S.H.I.E.L.D. agents the school's location, they would be able to see it. However, if they left and tried to bring someone else, they wouldn't be able to see the school.

This was the power of the Loyalty Spell.

Even though Snape was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, he wasn't the keeper of secrets and couldn't tell Voldemort the location of the Order's base.

Of course, Snape was a spy, and this was just a legitimate reason to prevent Voldemort from learning the base's location.

Even if the keeper of secrets were captured and tortured, as long as the keeper didn't willingly reveal the location, the protected place would remain hidden.

This was why, when Sirius learned that Voldemort had killed the Potters, he immediately knew that Wormtail had betrayed them.

"That's amazing!" Coulson murmured, holding his arm, which was soaked in blood.

He had read the documents on the Academy of Superpowers and heard about its magic from Nick Fury and Black Widow, but seeing it firsthand was still unbelievable.

As for the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, most of them didn't even know the Academy existed until after Nick Fury's death when Black Widow and a few senior agents brought them here.

"Healed as good as new!"

After bringing Black Widow and the others to the school's conference room, George used telepathy to inform Professor X to cancel classes for now and bring all the teachers. Then he began using healing magic to treat the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents one by one.

The injured agents watched in awe as their wounds healed under George's magic, with no scars remaining. They couldn't believe their eyes.

These injuries, which would have taken months to heal in a hospital, were completely healed with ease.

They didn't know that for wizards, these kinds of injuries weren't that serious. Even if a limb was severed, as long as it wasn't lost, healing magic could easily reattach it.

"No need to remove your clothes. I can heal through the fabric," George said as he noticed one female agent about to remove her shirt to expose a chest wound. She quickly stopped when George intervened.

Once he finished healing all the agents, the teachers from the school arrived.

"Alright, tell me what happened. Why did you lose so badly? Weren't you said to have had the upper hand earlier?"

Once everyone was present, George briefly mentioned the situation and then asked Black Widow for more details.
