100k special

Hello all my lovely patrons,

I am just spitballing some ideas for a 100k special as at the current rate I might be lucky enough to hit that within a couple of months. I just wanted to see if there was anything you would particularly like to see and/or any video requests

So jill.driver©gmail.com should be purged she doesn't know you. However she's a great friend of mine, she's a retired psych nurse but the Koodo phone people have been unable to fix this, which means periodically she changes the password and periodically I reset it so I can get in

Paul Mozarowski

My correct email is ptmozarowski@hotmail.com somehow the computer thinks I'm Jill driver, Jill logged onto my computer several years ago, so she is not your actual patron, I am.

You are the Genesis of ideas ❤️💡

Ah I haven't read that particular book but I love Dennett's work and I would love to write more on the philosophy of mind

Joe

Ah that is a really good idea. I wonder if people would be interested in a bit more "autobiographical" videos

Joe

I'd love to see a topic on you. How you came to love philosophy (tautological I know, a lover of philosophy is essentially a lover of the love of wisdom), challenges you met along the way, channels that inspired you, top 10 must-reads, advice for those starting out, and so many more.

Caracal Keithrafferty

My twenty-five year old son has autism. I was intrigued by ideas in Daniel Dennett recent work, From Bacteria to Bach and Back (2017). It seems 'mind' is really a manipulator of memes, which are shared using gestures and language. Autism has limits on this type of 'learning'. Philosophy of Mind, but only if you are interested. I bet you could interview Dennett.

Aldo Garbellini

I should've also included Jean Bauldrillard alongside Stirner, just recently gotten into him but I think his ideas rival those of Nietzsche's when it comes to current relevancy.

That’s a really good idea! I read “The Unique and Its Property” a long time ago and I don’t think I understood it very well, but I would like to revisit it with slightly more experienced eyes

Joe

Nothing particular per se but I would really enjoy hearing your interpertaions of lesser known philosphers, the likes of Max Stirner, for example, I think that content on such individuals is really sparce on youtube and when it's there it's quite lacking in quality. Another idea, and I know it's not exactly the direction of your channel, but it would be really interesting to see you dissect and analyse different works of media that deal and touch on philosophical themes, I know such content is a dime a dozen on youtube but once again I feel like the individuals who make such content often lack in the actual philosophical knowledge to properly analyse the works they attempt to. Regardless congrats on being so close to such a milestone, you deserve it and so much more, in no time you're going to be planning your 1 mil video.
