Smaugust - Combo Days 3+4 (Insect + Lace)

I'm doing it. I'm finally attempting another "art theme" challenge month after a long time of not having time. I've been wanting to do Smaugust (the entirety of the month of August is dedicated to a dragon-themed drawing every day) for ages now. Every time I remembered it, it was like... the 12th or the 20th or something. Not THIS year. XD

I'm using this prompt list from DA for the theme for each day. There's a few lists out there, but this one I liked the best.

Smaugust Day #3 and #4: Insect and Lace

This one is just done with pen and paper. Someone had a bright green pen at my desk at work and I couldn't resist. :D

I was inspired once again by our Patreon Pride member WyvernTitan. Praying Mantis was suggested as part of the insect theme. And then inspiration struck me to have this insectoid dragon wearing a Victorian lace collar. (I don't think I did the best on the lace, especially since my pen did NOT have a very fine tip - but I hope it at least LOOKS like lace. LOL) One more day to catch up on!

I don't know how far into the month I'll get, but here's hoping I can do at least a few pieces in! Wish me luck! I'll be posting every piece I do here on Patreon first - and I'll be posting them to DA a few days later.
