2024-12-21 01:10:25 +0000 UTCin the making of hop, video on their youtube (highly recommend you watch it in your own time or for a reaction, all members go into their solo tracks as well as the group tracks), han said that this was his current self reaching back to his past self and holding their hand because sometimes all you need is for someone to do just that because its something so simple yet reassuring, comparing it to when how you're a kid and when you're worried or scared, someone holding your hand is all the reassurance you need. he also emphasised how he wouldn't be who he is today without all the struggle and battles he's gone through. i love how in the video his current or future self is giving his old, alien han, clues about the future that he will have if he just lets it happen and that he will hold his hand to help him through it. ever since i first heard this song i just completely fell in love with it and waited months for the album version and i just knew this video would be something special and it is. the lyrics, the music, the visuals, the story, everything is just the best. world best han and my ult for a reason.
