Weekend Work

It's been a quiet day at home here, so I've been working.  People have been sending in more recordings for the voice acting in QFI:RtR, so I've been organizing up some of that  - listening to tracks, cutting and editing them for in-game use. Shawn has edited a bunch of them too - ready to be put in the AGS engine.  It's coming together; I hope to have this done and tested by Summers end. Which means we could have a fall release for QFI:RtR.  I'm going to have to try and plan how we advertise that and get some attention on it.  It's a smaller game than QFI, but it's a fun part of the game and story experience.  I know we'll have to rely on word of mouth, so if any of you are involved in social media, when the time comes, I'd appreciate all the shares, reviews on gaming sites, etc. that you can do.

I did some more design work on OotT: Fortress of Fire. I'm excited to work more on this with Shawn and Broomie - bit by bit, we're focusing the story and the game play. I think this chapter will really tie the games together and bring a satisfying conclusion to the story, and round out Finn's character arc.

I talked a bit with the boys on the Frogsheen team too - we even got a new boss created for the game! Bad-Bad Badger! Our new animator Justin worked with me over Discord to create this guy.  I love how classic NES boss he feels.  This should be a fun enemy for Frogsheen and his friends to encounter.

And, of course, work on the secret project continues.  Those who are backers at $5 and up know what's going on in there.  I've been asked, and the reason why it's $5 and up is I had a glut of seemingly bot and dis-ingenuous patrons who pledged at the $1 level to read things and then rescinded their pledges, etc. So I put info about that project at the $5 and up level.  If you're skint and supporting by the skin of your teeth and really want to know, getting in touch with me personally is an option. Cause I do appreciate every honest pledge.

Again, thank you all for your support.  Let's hope that Infamous Quests does better in 2020 than I am. Cause if you know me, my personal life is a wreck now.  I'll be okay, and I'm getting better day to day. But it's been rough!  Thank you again for being so awesome.

Could be a Mega Man X boss name lol

Heh, cool, I named him, so I was kind of going for that cartoonish/game-like name! Bad-Bad Badger. I liked the way it rang.

Bad-bad Badger sounds like a Mario enemy, sort of like Bob-omb.
