After Chaeyeon's last album, she had meetings at the company and asked when her next album and promotions will be. They said "We will get back to you, we are focused on UPSEER at this time". Chaeyeon is in her last year of her contract at WM and she has worked hard for them since she joined the company. So she felt they were not going to give her a comeback so she decided to open her own YT channel separate from WM. She partnered with a PD from her drinking show that aired on another YT channel. She invited her friends and people she is close with in the industry to guest on her channel and many show clips went viral. Fans started asking for her to bring all the WM groups together in one show. She had so many of them on in pairs or separately the fans were begging for it. So Chaeyeon being a good employee took all those comments to WM and said, lets do this on the official WM channel. Fans want it. They said "Sounds good, we will check everyone's schedules and find a time" Truth is they did not want to do all the organization and preparation needed to do it, they stalled and stalled and stalled, saying it was schedule issues. Chaeyeon grew tired of the lack of effort and felt obligated to give the fans what they asked for. She made a group chat with all the WM groups that she was close with, she asked everyone their availability and found a time that works for everyone, and STILL went back to the company and they said "We can't find a venue to do it at the time everyone is available." Chaeyeon did not accept that and just said "I will do it myself and put in on MY personal channel, since you don't really want to do it. " The company gave her a greenlight, but no money since they are not making money from the video. She organized everything herself, planned, made the shirts, prepared the food, the venue, went shopping for the game materials everything. She put her effort and heart into this, JUST because the fans asked for it. She spent her own money and did this all herself. None of the groups were paid to appear. After this was released on YT, the CEO of WM called her in and asked her why she wanted to do this, her answer was "It's a fan service". He reimbursed her personal expenses for the show.
