Book launch (eventually? maybe????)

I've talked some here about my publishing deal for Nowhere Stars, but I don't think I've mentioned set dates - my publisher told me day 1 purchases were more helpful than preorders, so I was planning to do a big announcement on the day the first edited/illustrated volume and its audiobook counterpart came out. On May 21st.
It is, um, not May 21st, and it's been delayed enough that I thought I should make sure everyone here knows what's going on with me. Despite the book being passed through Amazon's internal review, fully approved, and marked ready for release, it was taken down due to some manner of internal error the day before our intended launch.
Losing the preorders we'd gotten before any promo or marketing started wouldn't have been a big deal, but publisher and I have now been trapped in a neverending cycle of automated messages signed with different names, all stating that they need to review publishing documentation we've already sent them and will be in touch within 5 business days.
That's been the last week and a half now, with no apparent progress and no recourse outside this system. The whole situation is not doing great things for my brain.
But if any of you were specifically waiting for the audio version, that's here! Only the books are trapped in the void. I don't know why.

I'll be back with an actual announcement when something changes or I finish the chapter I'm doing my best to shove this out of mind and work on - I apologize for it taking a while. I'll keep doing my best.
