The BuildTheEarth Team BTE Argentina has the goal to recreate Argentina in Minecraft at a 1:1 scale in this project. The team has a size of over 4000 users, and they've already reconstructed more than 3000 buildings. With each passing day, the team continues to make remarkable progress towards their goal.

🌎 Plaza de Mayo, Buenos Aires

The Plaza de Mayo is a city square and the main foundational site of Buenos Aires, Argentina. On the occasion of the first anniversary of the May Revolution in 1811, the Pirámide de Mayo was inaugurated in the square's hub, becoming Buenos Aires' first national monument. In the square's surroundings are several significant monuments and points of interest: the Cabildo, the Casa Rosada (seat of the President of Argentina), the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Buenos Aires City Hall, and the Bank of the Argentine Nation's headquarters.

🏠 Obelisco, Buenos Aires

The Obelisco is an iconic landmark of Argentina's capital, Buenos Aires. Located in the Plaza de la República in the intersection of avenues Corrientes and 9 de Julio, it was erected in 1936 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the first foundation of the city. After the build was lost in a server wipe, the Team rebuilt it and it's surroundings during an event.

🏠 La Bombonera, Buenos Aires

The Alberto José Armando Stadium is a football stadium located in La Boca, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The stadium is widely known as La Bombonera, and it's owned by the Boca Juniors football club, who have over 16 million fans.

🏠 Palacio Aguas Corrientes, Buenos Aires

The building was designed as a water pumping station in 1877 by Swedish Argentine architect Carlos Nyströmer, and completed in 1894. The French renaissance palace was covered in over 300,000 glazed, multicolor terra-cotta tiles imported from the British ceramics maker, Royal Doulton. It features a tin mansard roof, and is emblazoned with escutcheons representing the 14 Argentine provinces of the time.
