Next book club pick: Will There Ever Be Another You? by Patricia Lockwood
Added 2025-11-04 03:44:02 +0000 UTCJoseph here. Today Jeffrey wrapped up Piranesi, and so it's time to think about our next book. And for the first time, I thought it would be fun to do a book I haven't read yet. It will also be our first new release book: Will There Ever Be Another You? by Patricia Lockwood.

Patricia is, objectively, a genius. She has an extraordinary command of language and thought. And she is also just really funny.
This novel is, to my understanding, based on her struggle with the brain fog of long covid. She wrote the first draft while in the brain fog, and then edited it once she had recovered.
Because it is a new release and so if someone wants to get it from the library, it might take a bit, we'll be starting this one in two weeks.
Monday Nov 17 - up to page 74
Monday Nov 24 - up to page 147
Monday Dec 1 - up to end
Looking forward to it.
