The Raven Queen comes to claim Vax'ildan.

Here's the transcript from the RPG session* in which this happens:

LIAM (who plays Vax): I look to the Raven Queen and as I walk closer, since I leveled up, I use the druid cantrip Druidcraft and grow snowdrops out from
where I stand, out to all of my family. Out to where they stand. S.H.I.T.s, thank you. How lucky I have been to have had all of you. How lucky, indeed. Thank you.

MATT (the Dungeon Master): And he turns and walks towards the darkened
cloak of his matron. In the darkness of her cloak, you see a brief light, and it’s brighter for you (to Liam). As you walk forward, you see reaching from the light the dark hair, the fair skin, and the wide smile of your mother, Elaina. As she greets you, she says, “I’m so proud.”

The rest of you watch as her cloak begins to fade like a slowly scattered shadow in creeping sunlight. And as the snowdrop flowers continue with each step, you blink, and it’s just feathers.

*In case anyone doesn't know: Critical Role is a buch of voice actors who have been playing Dungeons & Dragons together for years. After a few years, they started to stream their sessions for a wider audience, and by now, there's comics, books, an animated series, as well as 1000 hours of role-play you can watch on Youtube. Their huge success is due in part to the fact that it reminds every role-player of the very best RPG moments they've ever had. When you watch them, you forget you're watching eight guys sitting around a table. Matt, the Dungeon Master, is a bloody genius, and everyone else plays brilliantly too. It's absolutely inspiring.
