"Oathkeeper" finished, and some more Mythtember groundwork

Only a photograph at this point, not a scan - the paper warped so much that it doesn't scan well, so it's spending the rest of the day under heavy books. The colours came out MUCH brighter than I envisioned it, but that's an occupational hazard with watercolour pencils. I avoided it with my Jax piece, but I suppose I got careless!
The original is going up in my shop tomorrow around 10 AM CEST!
A little reminder: a few people asked if this was going to be for sale while it was still on the workbench - you, as Patrons, can actually call dibs on any piece of mine at any point in its creation! I'll be able to give you a ballpark estimate of the price the earlier you ask, but on principle, it's definitely possible. :)
So, Mythtember is around the corner! You've already seen the Fairy Queen lineart, and yesterday while at school, I finished the lineart for the Regentrude fairytale. I actually think it depicts Maren, the maiden who wakes up the Regentrude, rather than Frau Trude herself, but I'm quite happy with the lines!

Gorgeous!!! The colors on the Maedhros piece look amazing - they seem to be glowing right off the page. Weirdly mesmerizing, just like a real fire! And his expression is so serene & resigned, like he’s finally found peace. And Maren looks lovely! I love the details of her wet hair.
