I asked around with my various muses who was up for a texture-heavy watercolour piece with Procreate, maybe with autumn leaves and flowing hair. Orym was fine with autumn leaves but flowing hair was a hard pass, so Thranduil stepped up. 😁 I almost feel as if I know what I'm doing by this point, so here's a quick process video without too much back and forth.

I've finally done the homework I've been putting off for a year - I went through all my various watercolour brush sets in Procreate, tried out each brush in each set, decided if it worked with my workflow, and if it did, I copied it into a new "favourite watercolour" brush set. These are now by MaxPacks (MaxU), Freya, Drifter Studio, with a few others. I'm attaching screen shots where you can see them all if you're interested. There's one or two which had no name attached to it. Hot tip: If you ever make Procreate brushes, make sure you name them. On the brush, on the set, or in the settings. Otherwise, people will never remember you made them.

In other news, Patreon has changed something in their settings so now it doesn't work for my crazy font sizes anymore. Sigh. Buttons are now outside the screen, the same as with Facebook, Instagram, and pretty much everything else. Only thing that's scrollable everywhere even with a visual disability is Twitter. Just my luck. :(
