Still figuring this out (for my benefit and yours), but I wanted to share a quick reference on how chapter access currently works for Foundations of Smoke and Steel. Since I’m juggling a few projects (and more coming soon), this should help clear things up if you're wondering what your tier gets you.
📅 Current Public Chapter: 25
🗓️ Public Release Rate: Every three days???
⏩ Patreon Early Access
💬 Ember ($3/month)
❌ No early access
→ You’re on Chapter 25 (same as Royal Road)🔧 Forgehand ($5/month)
✅ 4 chapters ahead
→ You’re on Chapter 29🔥 Ardent ($10/month)
✅ 6 chapters ahead
→ You’re on Chapter 31🛡️ Vanguard ($15/month)
✅ 8 chapters ahead
→ You’re on Chapter 33🐲 Ascendant ($25/month)
✅ 10 chapters ahead
→ You’re on Chapter 35
🔁 Simple Rule of Thumb:
If I’m releasing 2 chapters/week, just use:
🧠 Public Chapter + Tier Bonus = Where You’re At
So if we’re on Chapter 40 publicly:
Forgehand → Chapter 44
Ardent → Chapter 46
Vanguard → Chapter 48
Ascendant → Chapter 50
