Personally being at the game, the replay does not quite show how much san diego struggled on long balls that houston would do from their own side to their forwards except for the 1st goal and the disallowed goal. Houston would also have a high pressure throughout most of the game

2025-07-08 07:15:11 +0000 UTCYeah i was at the game, it was around 8-9 minutes from the time that the pen was called and taken. Then with the var check on the disallowed goal and also checking san diegos 2nd goal took for a foul took quite a bit. Additionally lots of fouls committed in the 2nd half.

2025-07-08 07:05:35 +0000 UTCWhen the penalty happened in the box, the keeper basically had his nose smashed in and was absolutely streaming blood. It took probably 7-10 minutes to stop the bleeding and do a wellness check. That was a big chunk of the added time. If I were the San Diego manager, I would have subbed in the backup keeper because even if he cleared concussion protocol (which he did), he was clearly not at 100% for the remainder of the game.
