Something I have often noticed is that many people(including many leftists) fall into this binary type of thinking, where they have to support one group or another but they cannot support both. Even though supporting both is either a valid option or just morally not really doable because both are really bad. Is this because of how our society's nationalistic tendencies wants us to group people in the "other" group?
