There's an episode where Columbo goes on a cruise with his wife and other characters DO acknowledge her presence, the audience just doesn't see her.

2025-10-02 15:08:51 +0000 UTCGlad to see the continuation of "lets just use the backlot" tradition. The Jaws tour attraction was newly opened when they filmed this episode so I imagine it was also a bit of not so subtle advertising. And yes, the first version had REALLY goofy teeth. I wouldn't be surprised if another episode had Columbo chasing down a perp up a random Mexacan street only to have them get washed down by a flash flood.
