Celtic Creed Tattoo Set for G8
Added 2024-04-01 23:06:18 +0000 UTCWe wanted to release a tattoo set for St. Patricks Day to commemorate Asha's Irish blood, but we didn't want it to be leprechauns, rainbows and shamrocks. We wanted it to be cooler, a bit more badass and historic.
The pack features an array of Irish themed tattoos. The Shamrock (5th Century Irish, also a symbol used by ancient druids) and Claddagh (Irish 17th-18th century) are very popular so we included them but aren't in fact Celtic in origin. However in most pop culture they do feature as ancient Irish symbols, plus they look cool.
We have also included a text file of the tattoo origins and what they mean.
Of course the Celtic nations were the Bretons, the Cornish, the Irish, the Manx, the Scots and the Welsh. So the one tattoo pack could reflect many a region.

2024-06-20 14:28:41 +0000 UTCWhat about the Manx Triskelion? Oddly the crest is often depicted with a Latin motto. Quoqunque jeceris stabit. This is a bit strange because the Romans never came here. To save you looking it up, it translates to 'Whichever way you throw him, he stands.'
