I love how human Elena repeatedly in her life "never knows how she feels/what she wants" - which was always code for being too afraid to verbalize it - but vampire Elena is much more willing to just be true to herself

Yo I know I haven't commented in a LONG time but I've been catching up. The Silas reveal is so good! The fact that Stefan is a doppelgänger as well as Elena is crazy. Nina gets a lot of credit (rightfully so) for playing such different characters but Paul Wesley doesn't get nearly enough credit for playing all the different versions of Stefan (human Stefan, vampire Stefan, vampire Stefan without humanity, Rippah Stefan) AND Silas! Also crazy that he took his true form several times and no one knew.
Bonnie is so selfless bringing Jeremy back instead of resurrecting herself. The world doesn't deserve her. And I know Elena did it to save herself but I LOVE that Katherine now has to be a human, which is the opposite of what she wanted. To me that's worse punishment than death. Also, Caroline obsessing over graduation makes sense. Their lives are so chaotic and filled with everything supernatural and death that something as simple and HUMAN as a high school graduation is completely understandable.
Also, while Damon has grown a lot, there is no way in hell he would've handled that as well as Stefan. That must have been so hard for him to say. He's the superior brother for this exact reason. But I just really didn't care for Delena at this point AT ALL.
Some iconic quotes in this ep!
Stefan: "I should be upstairs grooming my hero hair."
Damon: "Are you drunk?"
Stefan: "I don't know, mom. Am I?"
I love sassy Stefan 🤣
"He's your first love. I intend to be your last, however, long it takes." - Klaus Mikaelson. Although it makes no sense to ship Klaroline after everything Klaus has done to Caroline, Tyler and their friends, this line is ICONIC.

“But I am not sorry that I'm in love with you. I love you, Damon.” Elena’s love confession to Damon is so beautiful. This still makes me sob every time I watch it. Someone finally chose damon after he was miserable for so long. this was the highlight of the finale for me.

“Have a nice human life, Katherine.” Elena giving Katherine the cure is the best revenge ever. Katherine is human, which is the thing she hates the most. That’s what she deserves after putting elena through so much.

Katherine did NOT want to be human lol… it was said a few episodes back that she only wanted the cure to give to klaus in exchange for her freedom from having to run from him for centuries. Come on now, pay attention! Lol

igli, im pretty sure katherine wanted the cure, but not for herself. in previous episodes, she explained she wanted it for leverage, and when she finally had the cure again, she decided to give it to elijah, so i believe the cure snatching was one and done for her.

Ahhh this episode! The finales always go so hard. I remember being shocked at that Silas reveal when I first saw it. They love to keep you on your toes and guessing. And poor Stefan. That "he'll be safe" pun though. 😂

Jenna did not have to go to the other side, according to Klaus’s mom in season three. She got to experience peace.

I’ve been refreshing for hours now because I’m so excited to see you guys watch this episode. I love that Bonnie and Jeremy got to see each other again as well as Elena. I feel really bad for Stefan, he just keeps suffering 😭

I'm not ready for this episode. I know this will be very emotional because it was for me. This and the last episode still make me so mad. Bonnie deserves to go to university with her friends and enjoy her life. I feel for Jeremy because now he realizes Bonnie died bringing him back, and he hates that this happened to her. Corey mention last episode nature sucks and I agree.
