November 2022 Release Second Preview: Sons of Ymir Vol. 4!

Today we are showcasing one of the most expected unit for the Sons of Ymir, the strongest, the biggest... the iron heavy armoured Dwarf Huscarls Unit!

About the Dwarf Huscarls Unit

"...the term Huscarl comes from the word húskarl, which literally means "house man". The Dwarf Huscarls are the ultimate defence of all the dwarf fortresses and kingdoms, the final line of combat between the enemies of the dwarfs and their own kind. These mighty dwarfs carry heavy armours composed of precious iron scales and big shoulderpads with unique runes for each warrior. These runes, encrusted also in their axes, represent the initials of their family names, a way to carry the strenght of their ancestors to the battle..."

Warning: due to the size of the armour and shields of these miniatures, created to capture the essence of these heavy dwarfs, they could be a bit tricky to rank at the default 100% scale, so be aware of that while basing your miniatures in 20x20mm square bases!

These miniatures come only with modular shields, the weapons come attached to the miniatures due to the design of the gauntlets.

One (1) Dwarf Lord
One (1) Dwarf Cannon
One (1) Dwarf Organ Gun
One (1) Dwarf Flamethrower
Five (5) Dwarf Artillery Crew

We are working now on the Dwarf Artillery set. It is going to be a challenge for sure as there aren't many references of gunpowder norse/viking artillery but we will do our best as always!
