(Mini Review!) MrJBrick - Classic Comic Vision

Hey look at that! Somebody’s taken another crack at our lovable emotional android!

While there’s been plenty of MCU “WandaVision” Visions put out into the world by now, and we did have that one time when L1N6 took a big swing and a miss… we’ve never really gotten a good looking fig that I felt could go up alongside Cap and Thor and the gang!

From what I can gather, MrJ’s design may have been trying to emulate the look of Lego’s own recent design of this character in some of their newer animated shows on D+ and such. Most notably with the addition of the bright green “comic-dots” to act as either some minor texturework, or some moderate subtle highlighting.

I should probably postulate at this point why this has been given the “mini” status for this review! I uh… I couldn’t get the head off of the torso 😅

That head was so tightly snapped onto the torso that I couldn’t even turn it! Let alone get that cape off! So sorry to all those that wanted to see the back of the print on this one. I too was curious and felt a little let down.

It’s a bit of a shame the insides of the legs weren’t printed for this fig either, but in all honesty, Vision isn’t that dynamically posed given his reserved nature and all. Not to mention that the cape will hold those legs in place most of the time anyway. So am I really that upset about it? Eh… not really this time around

Speaking of the cape though, wow! It’s probably the best shaped cape MrJ has made! It dosen’t even look like their typical pillowcase shapes! Woohoo! The rope tassel is also well defined too! The collar is the perfect size! Really good stuff here! Just a shame I couldn’t get his head off to take a closer look…

Oh and before I close out this review, the color matching is also really solid! Again I go back to L1N6’s Vision and can’t unsee its funky green shade…
