Mystic Ville - April 12th 2022 - DevLog

Heyeyeyey, everyone,  how you doin'?

First of all, I deeply apologize for missing 2 weeks of the report! I promise it wasn't intentional, my room was in renovation, so my PC was buried under a tarpaulin, trying to get it would hinder the workers. So I had to work on my laptop, and guess what, the usual progress bar image I use is on my PC (I didn't sync it to my cloud storage, but the game project file is.)

So here it is! It is ALMOST there, just a little bit more push.

The NEXT update you hear probably won't be a devlog :)


Story (Script/Dialogues)

Finished everything, and I'm quite satisfied with this one :) So we'll see!


Art (Backgrounds/CG/Sprite)

I finished post-processing and graded the 2 CGs I gave as a spoiler to make them feel more cinematic.

Other than that, we're missing 2 more pieces of art to make the illustration of the events better, but rest assured, it's nothing complex so we'll get it done in no time!


Code

Finished everything, coded every maps, variables, checked all the dialogues, including character viewer, and other gallery stuffs.


Posing

Finished all the posing while I was away with my laptop. Made sure the music fits, expression changes are subtle with great use of emojis.

And that's it, everything's READY, only 2 more "minor" art left and we're ready for release. Other than that, I still can't decide the versioning system to use, I guess... but We'll figure it out, I hope...
