This is our first devlog without Red... and things do feel different. I kinda miss him.
If you didn't know- well, you might not know, because I actually forgot to announce it on Patreon (sorry...) I'm not working with Red Chan anymore.
If you want to know the story, come hop on the Discord server and read my PSA in #announcement. But yeah, I'm not going to talk about it here.
So basically, I'm still reorganizing things, rescheduling everything, switching artist whilst tackling on my college thesis altogether, so yeah, I know I promised 23rd January but looks like I won't be able to make it, sorry guys, I had to deal with my thesis!
Current state of the update:
1. Because a new character would be joining the roster, the script has to be re-written slightly.
I won't say much, but she's a familiar character, she was mentioned in Chapter 1 and now finally making an appearance in Chapter 3!
2. Sunflopp finished the artworks. (Total of 11 artwork) but why is it 6/11?
That's because the art in this game is always a 2-step-process, the artist finishes the artwork, and I'll usually do the last polish/cleaning/color grading. So yeah, I haven't "post-processed" it yet! Bear with me guys!
3. Posing would be continued after taking care of Writing & Art.
Yup, like I said many times, it is the assembly process! Assembly only starts when all the pieces are ready!
4. Code is 100%, Replaced CG Viewer with Scene Replay!
But for the sake of not breaking saves, all the scenes are unlocked from the start with a "Spoiler warning" when you try to open the menu.
I'm sorry but I still can't decide the most efficient way to do this, right now I'm using imagemap, but if I want to lock it per-scene, I need to switch to imagebuttons, not sure it is effective timewise right now, but definitely could be changed in the future!
I am sure that I can push it out before Valentines... or should I just deploy the update ON Valentine? Let me know!
By the way, the current artist, Sunflopp, did an amazing job!
