Their babies probably did use the pool too but obviously they don’t go as much as you so it wasn’t noticeable. Besides are you really comparing yourself to a baby right now? Of course the swim nappy isn’t going to hold your pee its cloth you leaked out straight away it’s for keeping your number 2’s in. You should be ashamed of yourself I was so embarrassed, one minute I’m holding you around the waist helping you kick the next the other mothers are all laughing and I look behind and see the trail of dark blue you’re leaving behind.
Maybe I shouldn’t be so hard on you, if it wasn’t your fault like you said then that means you’ve been having accidents. Its ok we can deal with those you just need to practice holding it in longer. So here’s what’s going to happen, we’re going to stop in at a pharmacy and we’ll both go inside and pick you a pack of diapers just in case you have any more accidents while I teach you how to hold it. Yes diapers, and you WILL be coming inside I don’t care if you’re only wearing the swimsuit its dry now and you deserve to be embarrassed like you did to me.
That’s just the first stop though after we pick out your diapers we’re stopping by Jenny’s place on the way home so you can show her mum the pack of diapers we bought you. You can tell her that you’re sorry for not having better control of yourself in the pool and that you’re going to do your best to learn how to hold it and the diapers are there just in case. Hopefully for your sake Jenny doesn’t answer the door but that’s a risk I’m willing to take.”
