Important billing update in November

Patreon has basically been forced by Apple to change the billing model for all creators in order for Apple to take a fee cut in the app, starting November.
Currently, I have the model where patrons are charged on the 1st of each month, this will automatically be changed in November to subscription instead.

First of, no need to panic, it will be ok flails
Here's the important points:

-"Apple will be applying their 30% App Store fee to all new memberships purchased in the Patreon iOS app, in addition to anything bought in your Patreon shop."
This means my tier prices will be higher in the app compared to the browser. I recommend that you only use the browser version to pledge once this change is in effect to avoid the Apple fee.

"We want to be crystal clear about one thing: Apple’s fee will not impact your existing members. It will only affect new memberships purchased in the iOS app from November onward."

About subscription billing:
"Members are billed when they join a creator’s membership and then on the same day of each month thereafter. For example, if a member joins on the 5th of a month, they’ll be billed on the 5th of each month thereafter."
