I would like to participate, but being in Australia, our time zones rarely align in a way that works. But, I can ask the question though... One thing that got me was space travel. Using Farcaster Portal or Hawking Drives or Regular Ship. But the novel mentions the Torch Ships, that were far faster than most, but don't get used a lot - other than emergencies (if my memory serves). Why?

Your videos helped ignite a similar love for the genre and it helped me through quite a dark time, especially during covid. (Not hyperion related, but do you think the expanse series is worthy of a vid or two? Would love to hear your analysis of those protomolecule chapters).
