The show Daniel is in is called Rap:Public. Its not easy to find website in North America. However, a sub group @showmethesubs on x will do the subs. This is their card. https://showmethesubs.carrd.co/ Rap:Public has only 3 episodes out. It airs on Wednesdays so the subs might take a couple of days.

I am not really interested in rap but it was interesting from the start and Daniel did so so well. So I was wondering if you could react to that too 🥹👉👈

2024-10-08 12:39:46 +0000 UTCMan, MNET is really spoiling us waaaaaaay too much these days. You just can’t watch a show without getting spoiled in the first 5 and last 5 minutes. It’s just getting really annoying. The name Cravity is pronounced as following: “크래비티” “Keu-Rae-Bi-Ti ”, so if you read it, the Rae sounds more like you would pronounce the first E in lettuce. I think if you would pronounce graffiti with a korean accent that would sound like that, which could mean them portraying different colours in both beautiful artworks with a rough edge The Boyz and The Crew One were both under IST (I’ve heard rumors of The Boyz leaving the label though) Junseok (the guy with the hair) reminds me more of Keeho, but I can see Seungeon in him as well. Hyeongjun wasn’t bad at the ace performance in the first episode. It was good, but that was it, there was no real “wow-factor” like others did have. I think they just added the giant hand to portray the feeling of being in someone else's control. They had to do the dance moves because of something making them do them. Also, If they would climb it or hang on it, the danger of it falling over is way too big. I think they did the right thing with it. This is what I ranked them: Cravity: Really nice concept and performance, put everything into it (didn’t know the movie but after I watched it I even put them higher up this list, but they already were first) Younite: Very strong concept, performance wise could have been a bit better but was still good TNX: nice reproduction of the song, nice rap, choreo could have been a bit better and the concept wasn’t as clear ONEUS: Pretty good, but Kick It really would have shined with RAVN’s raspy voice much more. The Crew One: They really chose the wrong song to me, they didn’t shine (only Geonu, Bain and Yeongyu did) but a good concept 8TURN: Really good choreo, but that was it for me (too similar to the original and not on the same level) TEMPEST: Was really just an underwhelming cover (not bad, but not good enough) Songs I would have chosen for each group Cravity: SRR is a good choice from them but I would say either ”Deja Vu” or ”Can’t you see me” Younite: Bite me was changed in a good way, but I feel they would have been good on ”Tamed-Dashed” or “Let me in” TNX: They could have fitted anything from Stray Kids to be honest and they chose well by doing a B-side, but as a title track I would have said “Thunderous” and as a dark horse “Levanter” (also wanted to say “God’s Menu” or “Side Effects” but they did them on Kingdom so that wouldn’t be good). Also TNX on “Voices” would also be very dope ONEUS: Kick it was nice but would have fitted something like “Favorite” or “Touch” would have worked for them. ONEUS also participated on season 1 and I feel like (apart from Joker) this wasn’t as strong, so maybe try a well thought out fresh concept? The Crew One: I’m going to be honest, poor boys. The Boyz participated 2 times already, most songs they had already done. My recommendations would have been “Maverick” or “Roar”, they would have fitted their voices better I feel like (“Thrill Ride” would also have been fun, but ”Tatoo” is not an option because you need to match Sunwoo in that song, that is a big no) 8TURN: ”Future Perfect” is their lane, that might have been a trap. I would have recommended them “Blessed-Cursed” or “Given-Taken” (could see them doing all of their songs so that might be why they chose “an easy way”) TEMPEST: Maniac isn’t beatable without insane rappers and a deep voice. I would have given them “Case 143” or “LA LA LA” (less insane rapps and deep vocals) No, I think both aces are chosen by the members themselves, the only thing is that they get to see one of the aces to make a prediction to what song they will be doing. Think about ONEUS for example, when they would have Keonhee as an ACE it could be more of a vocal based song like Luna, but if they had Leedo it could be something like No Diggity. The thing is that you could also pull a fakeout and choose someone like Seoho who can both rap, sing and dance really well (they all can but he is probably the most versatile). (PS. This is unrelated to RTK but there is this rap show going on called Rappublic and Daniel Jikal from LOUD is on the show. This MF beat Don Mills, one of korea’s most notorious rappers)

2024-10-05 22:18:20 +0000 UTCI was surprised by the ranking results. I really thought that the 2 most creative teams were The New6 and Younite. I thought all 5 other teams followed the original choreography much more so than the The New6 and Younite. I don't know if that is better or worse, but I was really disappointed in the vocals for Oneus, when members were singing individually and yet they did well. I do not stan any of these teams and have never heard of some of them before this show but, I really think the rankings were so different than I would have chosen. Also, are there rules for the ace battles? It would be nice to know because having props and having a team member help you with special effects is such an advantage.
