The patient is a 33 year old woman, who recently had to undergo an emergency heart valve surgery, after suffering a cardiac arrest at work...her condition deteriorated that badly because for years she was too shy to get a proper heart exam, despite constantly feeling tired and her GP warning her about some heart murmurs. It was a very close call, but the surgery was a success and she could return home after roughly a month of hospital treatment and rest. However, just a few days after being discharged from hospital, she wakes up one morning with a very fast throbbing heartbeat, difficulty breathing, and extreme fatigue and dizziness.
