Plans/info about Death’s Metal

Just a quick bulletin about how the comic Death’s Metal will release, and what it consists of.

RELEASE PLAN

-I’ll be hosting the comic on multiple websites, such as Tumblr, FurAffinity, Patreon, and anywhere else that allows me to upload and sort a sequential work.

-Everyone will be able to read it.

-The first chapter will release all at once, or at the very least in a very quick succession.

-Subsequent pages will be temporarily exclusive. This is part of my monetization plan. Patrons will be able to pay to see pages early, among other bonuses, but again, everyone will be able to read it. I have nothing to gain from paywalling something I’ve been working on for a long time.

-I’ll start releasing the comic before the end of 2018, even if I haven’t finished the first chapter.

ABOUT THE COMIC

-This comic is dark. The tone is quite somber and there will be a lot of visceral violence, death, and existential quandaries. We’re talking actual dark, not middle-schooler whose only exposure to writing is Naruto fanfics dark.

-The comic is split into four parts/quarters, each with multiple chapters. This is a long one.

-Karma is in the comic but she is not the main character. She is important, but the comic is about people more important than here. Yumi, Scar, Dio, and others will also show up.

-My target demographics are fans of dark fantasy (Berserk, Final Fantasy XV), gothic horror (Bloodborne, Castlevania), stylish action games (Devil May Cry), and emotional visual storytelling (Shadow of the Colossus, Mad Max: Fury Road).

-I’ve been working on this story for ten years. I know exactly where the story is going to go and I have no intention of changing my plans.
