I've finally returned home from HeroesCon! It was such a blast, and I can't thank everyone who came out to see me nearly enough. It's always such a pleasure getting to meet fans both new and old and talk about our shared love of comic books. It really helps energize me in every way it can.
I figured I ought to give a bit of an update now that I'm home. The prep for HeroesCon ended up being SUBSTANTIALLY more work than I'd initially anticipated. As such, my original predicted post date for the new JL8 update was wrong. Unfortunately, it won't be going up this week. However, I have faith that it WILL be ready sometime NEXT week. I'm aiming for next Wednesday (6/26) but I may need until Friday. If anything significant changes, I'll be sure to let you all know.
A lot of you were curious about how you'd be able to acquire some of the new merchandise debuting at HeroesCon. I'd planned on launching the online sales on Friday in tandem with the start of the convention, but internet wasn't cooperating all that well, so that's being pushed back to THIS Friday (6/21). New items in the online shop will include the Yearbook Page, the Yearbook Photo Set, the For Whom The Bell Dings 2-Print Set, and the remaining copies of the For Whom The Bell Dings HeroesCon exclusive. There may even be some new warm-up drawings in there as well.
I'm pretty confident that covers everything for the time being, but I'll make another post if I realize I'd forgotten anything. My next con looks like it'll be DragonCon in Atlanta on Labor Day weekend, so I'm excited for that. Thanks again to everyone who came to see me in Charlotte, and hopefully some folks who couldn't make it will be able to come to Atlanta! Until next time!
