Just look at this thing. This is a 1/9 panel (a panel the size of a single panel on a page with a 9-panel grid) and it packs more bone-crushing impact than most double-page spreads I see.
So many highlights I'm not even sure where to begin. Look at the acting; even without the caption, it's so clear that Capt. Cloud is running out of gas and throwing one final, desperate haymaker. Yamashita's body crumples from the power of it. The effects work; just enough speedlines to get the point across without overdoing it, the boldness of the lettering, the masterful sunburst effect, the addition of what almost looks like DEBRIS coming OFF YAMASHITA FROM THE PUNCH.
I can't stop looking at this panel. Utterly incredible.
